At the end of September or beginning of October, The Spanish Council of Student Residence HallsUniversitarios organizes alongside Universidad Complutense and Asociación de Colegios Mayores de Madrid the Inter-halls Sports Tournament. Every year, more than a thousand university students from different parts of Spain gather in Madrid to enjoy a day of sports.

 

Within a festive context, the students have the opportunity to meet their peers from other educational centers and share the values of sport: in the VI edition more than 150 teams participated and more than 200 games were played in just 10 hours.

The objective of this activity is to provide alternatives for integration and coexistence to students, in a period in which the new students must adapt to a new environment, classmates and city.
